Part number 00499017-Abarth-595 is the steel base-mount sub-frame for the Fiat Abarth 595, designed to bolt into the car’s floor mounting points in place of the standard seat runners and accept base-mount sport seats using the 345mm x 271mm bolt pattern from Sparco, OMP, or Corbeau.
Note the base part number: 00499017. This is a different frame to the 00499070-series used for the Skoda Fabia, Volkswagen Golf Mk6, and Seat Ibiza applications. The Abarth 595’s floor geometry differs from that group of cars, which is why it has its own dedicated frame. Using the wrong frame here would either fail to bolt up correctly or would leave the seat at the wrong height and angle for the seatbelt geometry.
Both driver and passenger sided versions are listed for RHD cars. This listing covers one sub-frame. If you are fitting two seats, order one of each side.
The Abarth 595 is a compact car with a tight cabin, and seat shell width is worth measuring before ordering. A wide-bolstered bucket may clear the seat itself but foul the door card or centre console once a driver is in it. The R100’s narrower bolster profile fits where more aggressive shells may not.
Fore-aft adjustment can be added via Sparco sliding runners between the seat and the frame if needed for road or track day use. The frame positions the seat where the standard unit sat, with seat height determined by the sub-frame profile.
Have you written anything useful for my car?
Yes: Top 5 reclining seat choices for your Fiat Abarth 500, including our fitting guide, and Customer Question: A Sparco R100 Package For An Abarth 595, Both Sides, Priced. Those are written around the same car, from real fittings and customer questions, so they are worth a look before you decide.
Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the Fiat Abarth 595. Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern). The Compatible seats tab above lists what bolts straight on. If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on Sparco frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
This is a base-mount frame: the seat bolts down through its base, the simpler stack that suits seats with a flat bottom and keeps the install low-fuss. Our guide on base mount versus side mount explains the whole fitting stack.
Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
