The R52 is the convertible of that Mini generation, and the frames are handed between driver and passenger. Check the chassis code rather than going by the model name: the R50, R52 and R53 are the same generation and do not all take the same part, and this listing is cut for the R52.
Fitment
Steel, on the 345mm by 271mm base mount pattern, bolting to the floor mounting points BMW already put in the car. That spacing covers Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats, whatever older copy on this range said about same brand fitment.
A side mount competition shell needs side mounts or adaption bars fitted over the frame.
Ordering
Sold singly, one frame per seat, handed. Choose RHD driver or RHD passenger and order twice for a pair.
Tell us the seat when you order, and tell us whether the factory seats carry side airbags, because removing a seat that has one has consequences worth understanding in advance.
In a Mini the cabin is not generous, so if the shell is still undecided, send us your height and build and we will say what will work once the door is shut.
