One of the few fibreglass competition buckets in this range that takes both base and side mounting. Part number S008016RNR. FIA 8855-1999 homologated.
The QRT name is Sparco’s quick resin transfer manufacturing process. It produces a more consistent shell density than traditional hand lay-up at similar fibreglass thickness. This generation of the Pro 2000 came out 1.1kg lighter than the previous model through that process, which matters in classes that specify minimum seat mass.
Base or side mount. Base mount uses the 345mm x 271mm bolt pattern shared by Sparco, OMP and Corbeau sub-frames. Side mount takes the standard Sparco FIA steel mounts (SS004902). The dual mounting option is the main practical distinction from other fibreglass QRT seats in this range, most of which are side mount only. If your install is tight or you move the seat between cars, that flexibility is useful.
HANS compatible. Correct for a 32 to 36 inch waist. No head support wings. Black shell and trim.
Where it sits: the Circuit II (SS008011RNR at £468) is side-mount only but covers up to 40 inch waists. The Pro 2000 at £499.50 is dual-mount but narrower at 32-36 inches. The Evo XL (S008015RNR at £525) is side-mount only and the wide-shell option. If your installation needs base mounting in a fibreglass seat, the Pro 2000 is the only one in this range that delivers it.
