This is an FIA 8862-2009 seat in fibreglass, which is an unusual combination worth understanding. 8862-2009 is the highest FIA seat homologation there is, and seats carrying it are almost always carbon. Building one in fibreglass brings the price down by a long way while keeping the same approval, at the cost of weight.
If your class requires 8862 and you are not chasing every kilogram, this is the sensible way to satisfy it. The carbon version is lighter and roughly twice the money.

Mounting is part of the approval
An 8862-2009 homologation applies to the seat used with the mounts it was tested with. Fit an approved shell to general purpose brackets and the installation is no longer covered, whatever the seat label says. Tell us the car and we will make sure the mounts and the sub-frame are right.
Note that we also list an ADV XT to the 8855-2021 standard at a much lower price. They are different seats sharing a name, so check the part number rather than the title if you are comparing them.
