Schroth 2-inch black harness shoulder pads, part 09309-X2, supplied as two pairs. The standard order covers a driver using a single harness; this listing supplies enough for two seats or for a driver who wants a spare set.
These fit 2-inch (50mm) shoulder belts: the Profi 2×2, Enduro 2×2, Flexi 2×2 and Clubman 2×2 from the Schroth racing range, and the asm autocontrol II and similar 2-inch street harnesses. They will not fit the 3-inch shoulder belts on the Profi 3×2 or Enduro 3×2; those need the Nomex 3-inch pads at part SSP00.
The pad slides onto the shoulder strap from the buckle end. It sits between the strap and the shoulder contact area, distributing the pressure of the harness load across a wider surface during braking and cornering. Black on the outside with black flocking on the contact face. The flocking is a soft woven surface that reduces friction against the race suit, which matters over the course of a long race or endurance session where shoulder pad contact becomes a wear point.
Two pairs means four individual pads in total. A driver using a six-point harness has two shoulder straps and needs two pads per harness. Two pairs therefore equips two separate harnesses or provides one harness with a spare set. If a single pair is needed rather than two, check whether a single-pair option is listed; the quantity here is specifically the two-pair configuration at part 09309-X2.
Sold without the harness. Compatible with the full range of Schroth 2-inch harnesses listed on this site as well as other brands using 50mm shoulder webbing with an open slot at the buckle end for pad insertion.
