OMP’s HC876 is a vehicle-specific subframe for the Subaru Impreza WRX in N14 specification: the touring car homologation variant used extensively in national saloon racing. Building or restoring an N14 requires a seat setup to match, and this frame drops into the factory floor mounting points without modification.
Steel construction, powder-coated black. The HC876 carries both the OMP/Sparco bolt pattern (345mm x 271mm) and the Recaro standard (405mm x 290mm), so it takes a seat from any of those four brands without needing a different frame. Compatible with Corbeau, OMP, Recaro, and Sparco base-mount seats.
Sold as a single: one frame per seat. For driver and passenger, order two. Available for RHD driver side and RHD passenger side.
The N14 application is specific to that homologation variant. For the standard road Impreza WRX, check that the floor mounting point geometry matches the N14 before ordering, as the competition homologation car was built to different specifications in some areas compared to the production model.
No bolts supplied. When ordering separately from a seat, let us know which seat you are fitting so we can check the bracket requirements. The bracket needed varies by seat model, and getting that confirmed before parts arrive avoids delay on a time-sensitive build.
Have you written anything useful for my car?
Yes: Top 5 reclining seat choices for your Subaru Impreza WRX/STI, including our fitting guide, and Customer Car: Subaru Impreza With Corbeau RRS Seats and Planted Technology Brackets. Those are written around the same car, from real fittings and customer questions, so they are worth a look before you decide.
Will this fit my car?
This frame is made for the Subaru Impreza N14 WRX. Chassis code and years matter more than the badge, as floor pans change between generations, so if your car sits near a changeover year, send us the registration and we will confirm before you order.
Which seats does it take?
It takes seats drilled 345mm x 271mm (the Sparco and OMP seat pattern) and 405mm x 290mm (the Recaro seat pattern). If your seat is not listed, tell us what you run and we will confirm the fit.
Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?
Only with a sliding runner between the frame and the seat, which is a separate part on OMP frames. If more than one person drives the car, budget for the runner. Our guide to sliding runners explains the options and widths.
Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
This is a base-mount frame: the seat bolts down through its base, the simpler stack that suits seats with a flat bottom and keeps the install low-fuss. Our guide on base mount versus side mount explains the whole fitting stack.
Is this for the driver or passenger side?
Both sides are available on this listing, pick driver or passenger side at the point of order (sides listed are for right-hand-drive cars). Left-hand-drive car? Ask us, as the sides swap over and availability varies by model.
