Buying a seat and working out the mounting afterwards is how cars end up off the road for a fortnight. This package pairs the seat with frames and mounts cut for the E92, so it goes in without fabrication.
The seat
The OMP RT in Alcantara and leather, FIA approved, fibreglass, side mount. OMP describe the RT as street friendly and it is: the bolsters hold you without you having to climb over them, which makes it one of the more liveable competition shells in a car you also drive on the road. In an E92 that matters, because most of these are still road cars.
Alcantara grips considerably more than a smooth trim, which on a fixed back shell is doing real work. The bolsters hold you laterally and a slippery surface undoes some of that.

Before you order
Keep the factory seats. On an E92, and particularly an M3, they are part of what the car is worth, and this installation is reversible.
Tell us whether the factory seats carry side airbags, because removing one has consequences worth understanding in advance. Ask us for the manufacture date on the seat as well.
