Keep the originals
Before anything else. A 360 missing its original seats is a harder car to sell whatever is fitted in their place, and the originals are worth serious money in their own right. Store them flat and dry with their fixings.
Because the frame bolts to the factory mounting points, nothing is drilled and the car goes back to standard whenever you want it to. On a car of this value that is the basis on which the change is worth making at all.
Why a recliner rather than a bucket
A 360 is used on the road far more than on track by most owners. A fixed back competition shell makes the car harder to get into, colder in winter, and impossible to adjust, and it looks like a compromise in a cabin finished to this standard.
The Misano gives you real lateral support while leaving the car pleasant to drive properly and a long way.
The seat
885mm tall, 590mm wide, 620mm deep on a 520mm base, at 11.5kg. The backrest is a fibreglass moulding on a steel base, a construction that keeps the reclining mechanism running accurately while the shell stays lighter than solid steel would allow. Base mount at 291mm x 330mm, 4 point harness compatible. Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated.
Hand trimmed in the UK in any one or two colour leather with matching or contrasting stitching, diamond quilted cross stitching and a carbon backrest. Given the car, talk to us about the specification rather than choosing from a photograph. Seat only.
