The Manta B coupe and Ascona B saloon shared their platform throughout production. The Manta B ran from 1975 to 1988, the Ascona B from 1975 to 1981, and both carried engines from the 1.2N through to the 2.0E GS specification. The Manta in particular built a strong motorsport reputation through the GT/E and the 400 derivatives; the 400 was a Group B homologation special produced in limited numbers in the early 1980s, and it remains one of the more desirable rally-era classics from the Opel range. Corbeau have mapped the sub-frame to the shared floor architecture of the two models.
The kit uses the Ascona/Manta B’s original floor mounting points. It fits any Corbeau base-mounted bucket seat or reclining sport seat. Not suitable for side-mounted FIA seats. The ±10mm bolt tolerance applies, and minor adjustment is occasionally required on some examples.
One sub-frame per seat. Order twice and confirm positions at checkout for a complete pair. Let us know which Corbeau seat you are fitting so we can check the complete kit.
