The Cobra Nogaro Circuit in houndstooth, a fixed back bucket in fibreglass with harness slots. Part number Cobra-Nogaro-Circuit-Houndstooth.
Houndstooth is a period pattern rather than a modern one, and that is the point of it. It was a genuine trim on performance cars of the sixties and seventies, so on a Cobra shell it reads as correct rather than as decoration. Classic black and white check, let into the centre panel rather than printed.
Slots cut into the shoulders for a 4 or 6 point belt, which is what separates the Circuit from the otherwise identical Nogaro Street. If the car keeps its factory belt and always will, the Street version saves paying for slots you will not use.
910mm tall, 560mm wide, 490mm across the base, 710mm deep, at 7.9kg. Side mount only. Drivers over 6ft with a 32 to 36 inch waist.
Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated. If your class needs FIA approval, the Imola, Suzuka and Sebring all carry FIA 8855-1999.
Hand trimmed in the UK. Seat only. Tell us the car for mounts and a subframe.
What is this seat?
This is the Cobra Nogaro Circuit shell in the houndstooth trim option, made to order. Houndstooth is a trim finish, it does not change the shape, approval or mounting of the standard Cobra Nogaro Circuit seat: 4 or 6 point harness slots, sized for over 6ft drivers, 32in to 36in waist.
Will my existing frame or brackets still fit it?
Yes. The shell, shape and mounting are the same as the plain Cobra Nogaro Circuit, so any bracket, frame or fitting kit that suits the standard version fits this one too.
Will I fit in this seat?
Waist size and height are the maker's paper numbers. How a seat actually feels to sit in and climb out of is a different question, so call us with your height and waist and we will give you the honest answer.
How long does it take?
Made to order. Tell us if you need it for a specific date and we will confirm the current lead time before you order.
Yes, we have covered this exact seat: How To Add More Lumbar Support To A Cobra Nogaro Bucket Seat. The houndstooth trim does not change the shell, so the same fix applies.
