The Cobra Le Mans Heritage with Land Rover Defender brackets. Part number COBLM-HERT-DEF.
The period version, with Defender fitting
Two things in the name. Heritage is the trim: fluted centre panels and no logos, which is what keeps a modern seat from looking modern in an older cabin. Land Rover Defender is the brackets it ships with, not a different seat.
So this is the standard Le Mans shell, in the period finish, with the fitting handled.
Why it suits the vehicle
A Defender is driven for hours rather than lapped, and the Le Mans is the touring end of the Cobra range. The orthopaedic style backrest supports the length of your back, and the recline lets you change position on a long run, which a fixed back bucket does not.
The seat
820mm tall, 540mm wide, 620mm deep on a 540mm base, at 13.4kg. Steel frame, reclining. Base mount at the 291mm pattern. 4 point harness routing.
All heights, waists from 32 to 38 inches. Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated.
Hand trimmed in the UK. Tell us the year and your colours and we will confirm both before anything is built.
