A pair of Sparco direct fit sub-frames for the Renault Clio Mk2. Part number 00499060-X2.
This listing is the pair, which is the difference between it and most of the sub-frame range. Ordinarily these are sold one at a time and you add the item twice. Here you get both sides in one order, which is the usual case when a car is being stripped and both front seats are going in together.
What it does
A sub-frame picks up on the floor mounting points Renault already put in the car and gives the seat a flat 345mm by 271mm base to bolt to. No drilling, no fabrication, and the seat load goes into the structure the factory designed to take it.
That 345mm by 271mm pattern covers Sparco base mount seats and also OMP and Corbeau base mount seats, which use the same spacing. Older copy on this range said the frames only take seats of the same brand, which was never right for this pattern.
Side mount competition buckets need side mounts or adaption bars on top. They do not sit on the frame directly.

Tell us the seats you are fitting. Frames in this range are either complete replacement frames or adaption bars that work with what is in the car, decided by the vehicle, and the photograph on the page is illustrative.
If you are fitting harnesses at the same time, mention it. Seat height changes where your shoulder line ends up, and that decides where the belts can anchor.

Do I keep fore-and-aft adjustment?

Base mount or side mount, and does it matter?
