A pair of Cobra GT3 Historic bucket seats with side harness slots. Part number COB-GT3-RS-SS-X2.
Side slots on both seats
These carry side harness slots, which the plain pair does not, and they cannot be cut in after the seats are trimmed. If there is any chance of running harnesses, this is the pair to order.
One limitation to know: the GT3 Historic takes a 4 point belt only. There is no 6 point routing on this shell, so if your class requires six points, no version of this seat will do.
Built for a historic interior
Fixed back steel frames made for classic and historic racing where period appearance is part of the specification. Black vinyl, integrated headrests, eyelets in anthracite or silver.
Cobra hand trim these in the UK and a pair on one order is trimmed together, which matters on a car where both seats are seen at once.
Specification
Base mount. Road and Track approved rather than FIA homologated.
Seats only. Tell us the car and we will match frames for both sides. Cobra frames include the sliding runner in the price.
Will I fit in this seat?
The maker sizes this seat for drivers under 6ft in height with a 32in to 36in waist. Those are the paper numbers; how a seat actually feels to sit in is a different question, and our showroom team sit in these seats every day, so call us and we will give you the honest answer.
What does showroom stock mean?
It is physically on our Nottingham showroom floor right now, so you can come and sit in it before deciding. If you want us to hold it for a visit, call ahead and we will keep it on the floor for you.
What do I need to fit it to my car?
The car-specific frame for your vehicle, plus a sliding runner if you want fore-and-aft adjustment. Our guide on base mount versus side mount walks through the whole stack, and tell us your car and we will quote the full kit.
How do I know it will feel right, not just fit on paper?
Makers publish widths and weights, never feel, and two seats with identical numbers can feel nothing alike. We keep the ranges on display in the showroom, you are welcome to come and sit in them, and our head support measurements guide shows the kind of real-world data we collect.
