KTR Racing Megane Seat Frames Updated With New Options

We have just updated our KTR Racing range, which covers the direct fit subframes for the Renault Megane 2RS and Megane 3RS. Both listings now have updated prices and fuller information on what the frames are and how they fit.
We have also added optional bundle items at the checkout. When you pick a KTR frame you can now add sliding runners that we know work with it, so the frame and runners come in one order.

What we have changed
The KTR update covers the two frames we list for the Renault Megane. Both now show updated prices, and the listings explain what the frame does, which cars it suits and what else you need to fit a seat on it.
The new checkout option is the useful part. A subframe on its own gives you the base for the seat, but many people also want the seat to slide forwards and backwards. You can now add sliding runners we know fit these KTR frames at the same time, which saves a second order and any guesswork about bolt patterns.
Who KTR Racing are
KTR Racing are Renault performance specialists, and the Megane is at the centre of what they make. They started small and have kept adding parts over the years, which is why their name comes up so often when people start turning a Megane RS into a track car.
Their seat subframes are laser cut from steel and powder coated black. They are not handed, so one frame fits either the driver’s or the passenger’s side.

The Megane 2RS and 3RS frames
The Megane 2RS frame is made specifically for the Megane 2RS, and it suits cars from 2005 to 2009 only. The Megane 3RS frame does the same job for the Megane 3RS, and it suits cars from 2010 to 2017 only. Neither frame crosses over, so the year and model of the car decide which one you need.
Fitting is straightforward. Each frame bolts directly to the chassis using the original seat fixings, and the seat then goes on top, with side mounts or runners depending on the seat. That means the frame works for a fixed back bucket seat or for a reclining seat.
