Come With Us To Gravity Show 2025

NEC Birmingham 24-25th August

The Gravity Car Show 2025 landed at NEC Birmingham this August, and it was without a doubt the biggest and boldest Gravity event yet. Spread across multiple exhibition halls and outdoor arenas, the show brought together every corner of car culture in one weekend. From hypercars and pristine classics to drift cars and lowriders, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

This year’s event welcomed over 35,000 visitors to Birmingham, filling the NEC with the sounds of engines, the smell of tyre smoke, and a buzzing atmosphere that celebrated every type of automotive passion. It was clear from the moment we arrived that the organisers had raised the bar yet again, making Gravity 2025 one of the UK’s unmissable car culture festivals.

The Live Arena – Drift Battles, BMX Stunts & More

The Live Arena was where the energy never dropped. Outside, thousands of people gathered around the drift circuit all weekend to watch the action unfold. The highlight was the return of CrewSade, an international drift team known for their aggressive style and creative stunts. They ran head-to-head drift battles, close-proximity tandems, and smoke-filled show runs that had the crowd cheering from start to finish.

This year, the organisers went one step further and introduced a military tank as an obstacle. Watching drivers throw their cars sideways around the tank was something no one will forget anytime soon. It was a risky but brilliant addition that made the drift shows truly unique. CrewSade’s drivers showcased incredible precision, turning the arena into a theatre of drifting skill.

Alongside the drifting, the live stage kept the energy high with BMX stunt riders landing backflips and impossible tricks, while lowrider parades brought a taste of West Coast culture to Birmingham. Inside, car reveals and influencer interviews created constant buzz, with fans meeting the personalities they follow online. Gravity 2025 made sure there was never a dull moment, whether you were inside the halls or outside by the live action.

Builds That Blew Us Away

BMW E31 Widebody

Another build that turned heads all weekend was a BMW E31 8-Series finished in a deep blue metallic paint that shimmered under the NEC lights. The car had been transformed with a wide bolt-on body kit, giving it an aggressive stance that completely redefined the shape of this already iconic grand tourer. Sitting low on a set of custom chrome rims, the E31 looked both menacing and elegant, blending classic BMW styling with bold modern touches. It wasn’t just about looks either – the quality of the build and the attention to detail made it one of the most talked-about cars in the hall.

This widebody 8-Series captured the spirit of Gravity perfectly, showing how a timeless platform can be reimagined into something unique and unforgettable. It stood as a perfect example of creativity meeting craftsmanship, and it had crowds circling back for another look throughout the weekend.

Twin-Engine Vauxhall

One of the wildest engineering feats we spotted was a Vauxhall fitted with two engines – one up front and another at the rear. Seeing both powerplants running together was mind-bending. It wasn’t just a showpiece either, it was fully functional and had people talking all weekend. Builds like this capture what Gravity is all about – creativity and pushing boundaries.

VW Transporter & Matching Boat Setup

Another jaw-dropping build was a VW Transporter finished in a metallic copper and lime green colour scheme, towing a matching speedboat and jetskis on a custom trailer. This rolling setup was a true show-stopper, and when we looked inside the Transporter it was just as impressive.

The van featured Auto-Style Type BS5 reclining sports seats paired with Luke 4-point Sport Lite harnesses, giving the interior a motorsport vibe while still offering practicality for road use.

  • Auto-Style BS5: A reclining sport seat designed for style and everyday comfort, with bolstered support for enthusiastic driving.
  • Luke GHR 4-point harnesses: Built with road safety and motorsport inspiration in mind, these harnesses are lightweight, stylish, and secure.

This build was proof that Gravity is about more than just cars – it’s about lifestyle and creativity, and this Transporter setup had it all.

Subaru Impreza with Recaro Sportster CS & Takata Harnesses

A silver Subaru Impreza sitting on classic gold wheels caught our attention straight away. Inside, it was fitted with Recaro Sportster CS reclining seats paired with Takata 4-point harnesses, a perfect blend of comfort, safety, and motorsport style.

  • Recaro Sportster CS: One of the most versatile sport seats on the market, combining the support of a bucket seat with the adjustability of a recliner. Ideal for road and track use.
  • Takata Race 4-point harnesses: Finished in Takata’s signature green, these harnesses provide secure restraint for spirited driving and track days, with snap-on fittings for easy use.

This combination looked incredible inside the Impreza, while also being functional for both fast road driving and track sessions.

The LibertyWalk Stand – Show Within a Show

The LibertyWalk stand has become a Gravity staple, and 2025 was no different. Their display pulled in huge crowds with a mix of fresh builds and updated icons. The standout was the Lando Norris × Quadrant X × LibertyWalk Nissan R32 Skyline, a collaboration project that drew endless attention. Wide arches, bespoke aero, and sharp details made it one of the most photographed cars of the weekend.

LibertyWalk’s ability to blend Japanese tuning culture with high-end styling always hits the mark, and this year, their stand felt more like its own mini-show within the NEC.

More Standout Cars We Loved

  • Mark McCann’s KTM X-Bow GT-XR – A fully road-legal track toy with a complete carbon fibre body. Striking, lightweight, and ferocious on the road.
  • Custom BMW E30 – Rebuilt from the ground up with a bespoke interior, wide-arch kit, and aftermarket wheels. A modern twist on a retro legend.
  • Ford Escort Mk1 – Immaculate in pearl white paint, standing as one of the cleanest examples we’ve ever seen. A true classic done to perfection.
  • Mk5 Toyota Supra – Sleek, aggressive, and carrying the weight of Toyota’s sports car legacy. Modern tuning culture at its best.
  • Nissan Skyline R32 – Finished with custom tail lights that gave a new look to an icon. Simple but effective changes that kept people circling back.

Each of these builds showed a different side of car culture, from factory-fresh classics to radical reimaginings.

Gravity’s Big Finale – Giving Away a Lamborghini

As if the show hadn’t already delivered enough, the Gravity organisers gave away their LibertyWalk Lamborghini Huracán. This headline-grabbing competition had been running all year, and the winner was announced live on the final day of the show. The crowd packed in to see who would drive away in one of the most recognisable cars in the UK tuning scene.

It was the perfect way to close the event, and it marked the end of a chapter for the Gravity team and their flagship build.

Looking Ahead After Gravity 2025

Gravity Car Show 2025 proved once again why it’s one of the UK’s premier automotive events. From the live drift battles and BMX shows to hypercars, grassroots builds, and lifestyle displays, it captured the entire spectrum of car culture in one place.

For us, it was the mix of wild engineering (like the twin-engine Vauxhall), show-quality interior builds (like the Subaru and Transporter), and the sheer scale of the event that stood out. The LibertyWalk giveaway of the Lamborghini Huracán capped off a weekend that felt bigger and better than ever before.

This year felt like a turning point for the Gravity team, closing the book on one of their most famous cars while leaving us wondering what they’ll bring to 2026. Whatever it is, we’ll be there.
