Which Bride Seat Rail And Fitting Route Suits A Suzuki Cappuccino EA11R?
A customer with a 1994 Suzuki Cappuccino EA11R asked us whether a Bride Zodia bucket seat would fit, and which rail or bracket it needs. The seat side is clear: the Zodia takes Bride's ZF rail family on a side mount. The car side is the open part. We list no Bride rail of any family for the Cappuccino, so this page shows the route and what we would check before you order.

Does a Bride Zodia fit a Suzuki Cappuccino EA11R?
We can’t say yes yet. A Bride seat reaches the floor through a vehicle-specific rail, and Bride’s own table pairs the ZODIA with one rail family only, the ZF. We searched our catalogue under Suzuki, Cappuccino and the EA11R chassis code and found no Bride rail for the car in any family. The Suzukis we do list rails for are the Swift Sport, the Wagon R and the Alto Works. That’s where our listings stand, but we haven’t confirmed with Bride whether a Cappuccino rail exists on their side, so treat it as open until we do.
Our compatibility guide says the same in general terms: pick the rail from the exact vehicle and chassis, the seat side and the seat family, and don’t trust a hole pattern on its own just because it looks like a match.
The Bride ZODIA Bucket Seat
The listing describes a fixed back, fibreglass seat with a silver FRP shell and black fabric trim, sold as seat only, with no brackets included. It’s 4 point harness compatible, has no armrests and no head support, and comes in two waist ranges, 32 to 36 inches and 36 to 38 inches. The fixing type is side mount, which is why the rail family matters so much.
The seat is the easy half of this job, so the car is the first thing we need to hear about.

ZF: the rail family the Zodia uses
Bride splits its rail families by how the seat mounts and which seats they take. Our compatibility guide lists ZF as a side mount rail on a 290 x 370mm pattern, for the ZODIA only, sitting up to 80mm lower depending on the vehicle. The other side mount families are no use here: IG and FX are written for the standard fixed buckets and exclude the ZODIA, and XL is the wide one. That leaves ZF as the only row in the table that names this seat.
| Rail family | Mounting | Nominal seat pattern | Seats named |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZF | Side mount | 290 x 370mm | ZODIA only |
| IG | Side mount | 290 x 395mm | Standard fixed buckets, excludes Type-XL and ZODIA |
| FX | Side mount | 290 x 395mm | Standard fixed buckets, excludes Type-XL and ZODIA |
| XL | Side mount | 290 x 430mm | Wide fixed backs including ZIEG IV WIDE and ZETA III Type-XL |
Do not choose from the dimensions alone. The product page compatibility field is the ordering reference.
The one ZF rail we list is for the Honda Beat PP1, a small mid-engined roadster. Its listing shows the pattern above: side mount, 290mm x 370mm, exclusively for ZODIA, with right-hand-drive driver and passenger options, each with its own Bride part number. We’ve included it so you can see what a ZF rail listing looks like. A rail is cut to one car’s floor mounting points, though, so the Beat part won’t carry across to the Cappuccino.

The side mount route and what sits underneath
With a Bride rail the stack runs floor, rail, seat. Where no rail exists, the seat has to be carried some other way, which means side mounts plus something to hold them to the floor.
The Planted universal side mounts are the type of part that does the first job. Their listing says universal means not cut for one car, and that the mount still has to match your seat’s bolt spacing, which differs from maker to maker. It also says what goes underneath: a vehicle specific Planted bracket or your own subframe.
We found no Planted bracket for the Cappuccino, only for other Suzukis such as the SX4 and the Samurai, so the floor half is still unanswered on this route as well.
This is the steel version, listed as FIA approved and bolt in, with a vertical face the seat bolts through. We haven’t confirmed that its hole spacing matches the Zodia, so we won’t tell you it does. If you want to go this way, send us the seat and the car and Cameron will tell you whether the spacing works.

Common questions
Does the Bride Zodia fit a Suzuki Cappuccino EA11R?
We cannot confirm it. Our listings show no Bride rail for the Cappuccino in any family, and the Zodia needs a vehicle-specific rail. Send us the car and we will check it before you order.
Can I use an IG or FX rail with a Zodia?
Our compatibility guide says the IG and FX families exclude the ZODIA, so they are not the route for this seat.
Can universal side mounts carry the Zodia?
It depends on the seat’s bolt spacing, which the Planted listing says you must match. Send us the seat model and we will confirm. You also need something underneath, such as a vehicle specific bracket or your own subframe.
One rail or two?
One order supplies one rail for one seat. Two seats need two rails chosen deliberately, driver and passenger, and ordering quantity two of one side does not give you the other side.
The car is left-hand drive. Does that change anything?
The ZF listing we have shows right-hand-drive driver and passenger options only. Tell us the drive side of your car and we will check what exists for it.
Can the seat reach Germany by a date in March 2027, and is express air freight possible?
Timings and shipping are on the Availability tab of the Bride Zodia product page. Bride items are ordered in specially, and the listing says to tell us the date when you order so we can confirm it up front. Send us the date and the destination first, and settle the fitment before you place the order.
What we would buy
Garreth
Garreth's top tip
I wouldn't order the seat yet. A £1,135.68 seat with no way to fix it to the floor is a problem you pay for twice, so I'd get the mounting answer first.
If the rail turns out not to exist for the Cappuccino, I'd look at a seat that already has a known route into this car rather than force the Zodia in.
Cameron
Cameron's fitting view
Give me the drive side, the seat position and the original runner setup, and I can tell you quickly whether the floor side is workable.
If the Zodia is the seat you want, I'd look at the Planted side mount route, because the seat's the reason you're asking. That way you are not carrying a one-off fitting.
Want the Cappuccino checked before you order?
Tell us the car, the drive side and the date you need it by. Cally, our digital receptionist, takes your details and Cameron comes back to you with the fitting route.
