What has changed
The update brings every Safety Devices Peugeot cage up to date with its 2024 specification, approvals, colour options and cage configurations. Each listing states the exact Peugeot model and years it fits, so it is clear which cage is right for your car.
The cages are built in sections, and the listings let you choose them from drop-down menus: the front cage, the rear cage and the door bars, plus optional extras such as a tunnel brace or front strut brace on some cars.
Full bolt-in and weld-in cages
The full cages come as bolt-in or weld-in. On the bolt-in cages the door bars are an option, and there are several door bar specifications, single or cross, which change the look and layout of the whole cage.
The multipoint cages go further. The Peugeot 205 multipoint bolt-in cage, for example, is a 17 point cage with optional front triangulation, a front turret brace, a tunnel brace and cross door bars.

Rear cages on their own
With this update there are rear cage versions for the Peugeot full cages. These come without the front cage or door bars, and can be used on their own. Each has its own choice of designs, for example a single diagonal, a single diagonal with a harness bar, or a cross diagonal with a harness bar.
A rear cage with a harness bar is a common choice for a road and track car, since it gives the harness a proper mounting point behind the seats.

Colours and finishes
Safety Devices cages come in black powder coat as standard. Grey, blue, silver, white and red are also available, and a cage can be supplied unpainted on request. If you have another colour in mind, ask us and we will see what is possible.
Safety Devices is a UK manufacturer of competition roll cages and accessories, and their bolt-in cages are designed to be straightforward to install. Garreth’s advice is to plan the harness at the same time as the cage, because the harness bar decides where the shoulder straps mount. Our guide to Safety Devices cages for Peugeot goes model by model, and our guide to fitting a motorsport harness covers the belts.
