The Caterham II ASM is Schroth’s purpose-designed four-point harness for Caterham, supplied here as a driver-and-passenger pair: part 91185-0 (driver) and 91184-0 (passenger). It is not a generic harness adapted for Caterhams; it is designed specifically to route through a Caterham’s structure, which differs from an enclosed-cockpit car in both width and the available anchor points around the open bodywork.
Caterham racing and trackday use puts the harness in a different environment from a saloon or GT car. The car is narrower, the driver sits lower, and a good portion of the anchor structure is exposed. The Caterham II uses an aircraft buckle rather than the clip buckle on the Lotus-specific harnesses, which is the configuration Schroth chose for this chassis. Four-point: two 3-inch shoulder belts and two 2-inch lap belts. ASM anti-submarining system. Black only.
Application attribute confirms Caterham. FIA 8854-1998 homologated. NOT HANS compatible. The harness uses bolt-in installation to fixed mounting points, which suits the Caterham’s structure.
Both driver and passenger sides are included in this listing. RHD driver and RHD passenger side, as confirmed by the Sport Seat Position attribute. If you are fitting a single seat, note which side you need before ordering; the strap geometry differs between the two sides because the shoulder belt angles follow the opposing seat position.
For Caterham-specific fitment questions, the installation routing matters significantly in an open car where there is less bodywork to route belts around or through. If you are unsure about compatibility with a specific Caterham variant, we are happy to confirm before ordering; get in touch with the model year and chassis type.
