The LUKE 5 Point Off-Road Harness, part code H000, has a five-point layout configured for off-road and oval racing applications. The sub-strap geometry in the H000 differs from the saloon-car versions. In an off-road or oval car the driver sits lower and the floor geometry is different, so the sub-strap angle and length are adjusted to suit. A saloon harness fitted to an off-road buggy or grass-track car will often not sit correctly, with the sub-strap too long or catching on the seat frame.
Road and Track approved. Available in 50mm or 75mm webbing, ten colours. The off-road geometry is not off-the-shelf: the strap lengths and sub-strap angle are specific to the vehicle type.
Luke makes harnesses for off-road and oval use as part of the same range as their circuit and track-day harnesses. The red release handle is present on the H000 as it is across the range, and the in-house serial code provides production traceability. Straight-stitch construction throughout.
