The LUKE Professional 5 Point Harness, part code HP024, adds a single sub-strap to the four-point layout. The sub-strap runs between the legs and clips into the central buckle, preventing the driver from sliding under the lap belt in a frontal impact. This is the mechanism competition regulations describe as submarining prevention, and it is why many series that previously permitted four-point have moved to requiring five or six.
HP024 is available in 50mm or 75mm webbing width, in ten colours. The five-point sits at £140, which is £5 more than the four-point HP011. If your regulations specify five-point minimum, this is the correct choice without paying for a full six-point. If your regulations already require six-point, the HP034 is the same range at £145.
Road and Track approved. Not FIA homologated, not HANS-specific. This harness is for road-legal and club track use where FIA rules do not apply. The Professional range uses the same straight-stitch Sussex construction as the rest of the Luke line, with the serial code tag and the red release handle present throughout.
Strap width choice matters at this price point. 50mm is adequate for track days with moderate G. 75mm gives a wider contact patch across the shoulder and is worth the slight extra weight on anything with cage mounts or during longer events. If you are buying for a specific car and unsure which width suits your harness bar or eye bolt positions, ask us and we will confirm the right choice. Choose webbing width and colour above. If your preferred colour needs ordering in, we will confirm the lead time.
