Worth being clear about what you are buying. This is not a Land Rover specific seat; it is the standard Monaco Pro supplied with the brackets for a 90. The shell, the approval and the specification are identical to every other Monaco.

That is the useful part rather than a caveat. It means you get a proven FIA homologated seat rather than something built for a niche, and the fitting is handled.

Why a Monaco suits a 90

A Land Rover 90 seat is flat, unsupportive and tiring on any journey longer than an errand. The Monaco is fully steel plated with a solid back and base, which gives real lateral support and intrusion protection, and it holds up to the kind of use a working vehicle gets.

It is a fixed back bucket, so there is no recline. On a vehicle you spend hours in that is worth weighing before you commit. If you want the support with the adjustment kept, the reclining seats in the Cobra range are the better answer and we will point you at them.

Specification

FIA 8855-1999 homologated. Integral head pad and shoulder support. 11.4kg. Base mounted or side mounted, your choice. Slots for a 4 or 6 point harness. Drivers under 6ft with a 32 to 36 inch waist.

Each seat is built to the specification you choose, which is why the wait is what it is: on average around 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the trim and options.

Cobra do not allow queue jumping. Orders are produced in the order they are received, so the earlier yours is placed the earlier it is built.

Made to your specification

Because each seat is made for your order rather than picked off a shelf, a made-to-specification seat cannot be cancelled once it is in production, and our special order terms apply.
