The single-seater version uses different mounting hardware from TRS’s saloon harnesses. Shoulder anchor points use 8mm fixing plates bolted through the roll hoop or monocoque structure, and the lap and sub straps use 8mm pinch plates. Most single-seater cars (Formula Ford, Formula Vee, Locost, similar) mount harness straps to the roll hoop rather than a conventional cage, and the 8mm hardware is sized for that installation. The standard saloon eyebolts (24E0340) use a 7/16″ UNF thread and do not apply here.
Strap widths: 3 inch (75mm) on the shoulders, tapering to 2 inch at the HANS attachment point, and 2 inch on the lap and sub. The taper is intentional, sized to suit a HANS device connection without excess bulk at the clip. Eight colour choices (no pink). Eyebolts are not included; this harness uses the bolt-in 8mm hardware rather than snap-hook clip-in.
