Twenty years of Mustang
Corbeau’s frame covers the Fox body cars from 1979 through to the SN95 that ran to 1998, which is why the listing carries such a wide span. The mounting Ford used across those years is close enough for one frame to do the job. If you have a 1999-on car, that is a different floor and not this frame.
Why a frame
A Mustang of this era sits its driver high on a soft seat. A proper seat on a frame that uses the factory bolt holes drops you into the car without cutting or drilling, which matters more on a car people keep for decades.
One side at a time
Corbeau design the kit for the seats they base mount themselves, the Sportline reclining models and the Classic buckets. The photo is a stand-in, since some cars get a full replacement frame and some get runners and brackets that bolt to the standard base. They are not made for side-mounted seats, on Corbeau’s own guidance; for a side-mount bucket, ask us about the correct mounting instead. The box holds one frame and its double locking runners. That does one seat; a passenger seat wants another box.
