Standard TRS eyebolts for clip-in harness installations. Part number 24E0340. 7/16″ UNF thread, 25mm shank, 8.8 grade steel. Sold individually.
The eyebolt threads into a welded nut or captive insert in the chassis, and the harness strap’s snap hook clips onto the eye. The 7/16″ UNF thread is standard across TRS’s Clubman, Magnum, and Pro harness ranges, and is the thread size most chassis builders use when welding anchor points for UK harness installations. 8.8 grade is the recommended minimum for safety-critical bolting; these are precision-machined steel eyebolts, not cast fittings.
The 25mm shank is the standard length and suits most installations directly against a chassis wall or panel. For installations where the chassis is thicker, where the strap needs more standoff from the mounting surface, or where the strap angle would cause the snap hook to bear against the chassis, the long eyebolt (24E0350, 50mm shank, £4.20) gives more clearance. A four-point harness in clip-in configuration uses four eyebolts. TRS back plates (24E0610, £2 each) are the load-spreader that fits on the chassis side of each bolt.
