We have just taken delivery of a batch of Mirco RS1 FIA bucket seats, and some of the colour combinations are really eye catching. The RS1 can be trimmed in more than 250 ways, from plain black with white stitching to a two tone design with contrasting topstitch, and you can add a logo or name to make it your own.
Since the RS1 went into our in-store display it has been one of the seats people ask to sit in most. Here is why.

What is on this page
The Mirco RS1
The RS1 is a fibreglass FIA bucket seat with a comfortable, ergonomic design. It comes with removable lumbar and leg supports, so it can be tailored to suit most drivers, and it has integrated head support and slots for a six-point harness, so it is ready for the track.

Support that lets you drive
The RS1 has large side walls and a deep bucket that hold the legs and body still, which keeps it comfortable even when the driving gets harsh. That support helps with performance too: when you are not working to keep yourself in place, you can concentrate on the road.

Bespoke trim and colours
The RS1 comes in three main trims: 3D fabric, velour and vinyl. Within those there is a huge choice of colours and stitching, which is where the 250 plus combinations come from.
We have found that sticking to two or three colours at most, with contrasting stitching, gives a great looking seat every time. Garreth’s advice is to start from what the seat needs to match, whether that is the car’s interior, team colours or a logo, and build the design from there. The same seats also suit gaming rigs, and we are happy to help design one for that too.
