To help you understand how the OMP RTS seat will fit into your car, we’ve measured it in detail right here at our showroom. Starting with the base, the internal seat cushion is 330mm wide, while the overall base width is 500mm. The front of the base flares slightly to 440mm, and at the widest point around the reclining mechanism, it measures 550mm. These are all key points when measuring your car’s space between the centre tunnel and door card.

If you’re a taller driver, you’ll be happy to hear the base cushion height comes in at just 100mm (rising to 140mm at the leg bolsters), giving you a lower seating position—ideal for maintaining headroom in tighter cockpits. The backrest height is 650mm from the base to the harness slots and 900mm to the top of the headrest, which gives ample upper back and head support, even for taller drivers. At the shoulders, the seat measures 560mm wide, a slim-line profile that matches the well-known Cobra Monaco Pro—proving it’ll fit comfortably in smaller cars like the Mazda MX5, Honda S2000, and similar tight-fitting models.

This special bracket is designed to sit between the RTS and your sliding runners, tilting the seat slightly for a more ergonomic driving position, especially helpful for those trying to mimic a proper race seat rake. This frame uses the 380mm bolt pattern at the base of the OMP RTS reclining sport seat that lines up perfectly with the four bolt holes at the top of the frame.

However, keep in mind that adding this angled frame, along with sliding runners and a subframe, will raise your seating height. If you’re a taller driver trying to achieve the lowest possible driving position, you may want to skip this upgrade to preserve headroom.
