MacKenzie Dress Modern is a green-dominant tartan with red and narrow white crossing lines on a deep green field. The Dress designation is the formal variant of the MacKenzie sett, and Modern means fully saturated thread. The white lines in the pattern are fine, which keeps the overall visual weight controlled at seat-panel scale. Width 140cm. Weight 415 grams per square metre (13oz per yard).
Green-dominant tartans sit well in interiors where some contrast with black or dark grey vinyl is wanted without the red-heavy intensity of the Stewart or Boyd patterns. The MacKenzie Dress is a good option for cars with darker interiors or where a more traditional-looking tartan is the brief.
Same construction as the Cobra and Corbeau tartan seat editions, sold separately for recovering existing panels or new trim builds. One metre covers a centre panel; two metres typically covers back and base in a full retrim. No foam or backing included.
