A web-cutting rescue knife for harness and seatbelt extraction in an emergency. Part number 24R0060. Velcro mounting. Meets the 2014 MSA Blue Book requirement at Rule R 48.10.11.

The blade is recessed behind a guard that prevents accidental cuts but routes webbing into the cutting edge cleanly: push the guard against the strap and pull rather than positioning a freehand blade. That design means a marshal or rescue worker can cut through a harness quickly, under stress, and without needing a clear view of the strap. It is not a general-purpose knife; the geometry is optimised for webbing.

Velcro mounting allows it to be fixed to a cage bar, door pillar, roll hoop, or any accessible surface so a marshal can find it immediately after an incident. Some events require one as a condition of competition; check your regulations and circuit rules. At £4.95, it is inexpensive enough to fit to every car used on circuit without debate.

TRS harnesses are held in depth

TRS produce in batches and we take deliveries weekly, and we hold large stocks of their most popular models. Most orders go out the same day.

Less common models and colours are a different matter, and can take up to a few weeks.
