When a race-prepared car loses its interior trim, the factory door handle usually goes with it. What is left is either a bare metal stump or nothing. A door handle pull solves this with a fabric webbing loop that threads through the door, knotted on the other side, giving a firm grabbing point you can use with one gloved hand.
The TRS door handle pull (part number 23H50) is available in eight colours. The loop threads through a hole drilled in the door skin or trim, tied off on the outside, and sits in the door ready to use. Most drivers position it at a height where a gloved hand can reach it without looking. Some drivers loop the free end around the cage bar to keep it folded out of the way between sessions.
Motorsport UK’s General Regulations require that the inside of every door provides a clear exit route accessible from outside the car. A car with no interior handle fails this check. The door pull satisfies the inside requirement without adding weight or complexity. Worth fitting before your car goes to scrutineering for the first time rather than being sent away to add it on the morning of an event.
