The EG is a light car with a following, and one where the standard seat is the weakest part of the driving position. A bucket on a direct fit frame gets you lower and stops you sliding about, and the frame is what keeps that a bolt in job rather than a fabrication project on a thirty year old floorpan.
Fitment
Steel, on the 345mm by 271mm base mount pattern, picking up on Honda’s own floor mounting points. Sparco, OMP and Corbeau base mount seats all use that spacing, whatever older copy on this range claimed about same brand fitment.
A side mount competition shell needs side mounts or adaption bars over the frame, which is the usual route on an EG because most people fitting one are going to a fixed back.

Sold singly, one frame per seat, handed. Choose RHD driver or RHD passenger and order twice for the pair.

Given the age, check the metal round the mounting points before you spend. A frame can only feed load into sound structure.
