This is the road going version of the Carisma seat package, and the difference from the Sprint version is the seat. The R100 reclines. It works with the standard diagonal seatbelt as well as a four point harness, and it is a great deal easier to live with in a car that is still used on the road.
It carries a Road and Track rating rather than FIA homologation. If the car is going to be scrutineered, you want the Sprint package instead and we will point you at it.
The seats
Sparco’s entry reclining shell, on a tubular steel frame, trimmed in vinyl so it wipes clean. The bolsters are deliberately lower and narrower than the seats above it in the range, which is what lets it into tighter cabins and what makes it comfortable to get in and out of every day.
Sparco list it for all heights across a 32 to 38 inch waist.
The frames
Sparco direct fit sub-frames for the Carisma, driver and passenger, base mount on the 345mm by 271mm pattern, bolting to the car’s own floor mounting points. Nothing gets drilled and the original seats can go back in.
