Seats and mounts in one order, handed for driver and passenger, which takes the guesswork out of the fitment. In an MX-5 that matters more than in most cars: cabin width and head clearance are both tight, and a seat and mount chosen separately can each be right and still not work together.
The seats
The Sparco Grid Q sits just above the Rev in the QRT range and gives better lateral support for a small step in price. Fibreglass with QRT technology, FIA 8855-1999 homologated, fixed back, side mount, four and six point harness compatible.
FIA seats expire on a date tied to when they were made rather than when you bought them. Ask us to read the date off current stock if they have to cover a season.
The mounts
PCI sliding sub frames, laser cut and CNC formed from one piece of 1/8 inch carbon steel, bolting to the factory seat mounting points so nothing is drilled. The slider bolts to the base with four bolts rather than the usual two.
Before you order
Send us your height and build. The Grid Q is sized around a 32 to 36 inch waist, and in an MX-5 there is no room to work around a shell that does not fit.
