Autosport International 2023 - Pedigree Racecar Showcase
GSM Performance visited the Autosport International Show to see what 2023 has installed for us. This is one of the biggest motorsport shows of the year with top brands showcasing their new collections and impressive cars on display. We had a look around the Formula One history section which included classic and modern racing cars, it shows how much technology has changed and advanced over the years in Formula One.Â
History of Formula One At Autosport International 2023
At the Autosport International event, they had an area full of Formula One heritage that goes back to the 1950s. Younger audiences will be drawn to the instantly recognisable 2022-spec Red Bull & Aston Martin F1 cars, as well as the previous ’21 generation Alpine that all look stunning. We were very excited to see the 2022 Red Bull F1 car as it had an extremely successful season in the hands of Max Verstappen and Sergio Parez. The car won 17 out of 22 races of the 22 world championship which is incredible and helped Max win his second world title.Â
On the other end of the spectrum, you’ll also find, in this area of the show, a 1951 BRM that is complete with its supercharged V16 engine! If you’re into motorsport, the History of Formula One stand is one that can’t be missed.

Classic Car Showcase At Autosport International
All these classic cars are successful racing cars that competed in races and championships as far back as the 1960s. There was a beautiful classic Morgan on display with a great racing setup such as a roll cage, racing seats, and a racing livery to finish off the look. This car is going to compete in 2023 in the hands of the driver, Shane Kelly, we wish them good luck during the racing season and we hope to see success come their way in the Morgan.  Â
