Which Is Right For You? OMP WRC VS WRC XL
We have both the OMP WRC and the XL version in-store on our display ready for viewing and Testing in 2022. These seats have a similar design but are suited to different shaped drivers. The OMP WRC is most suited for drivers with a 32-36inch waist whereas the OMP WRC XL is most suited for drivers with a 40-42inch waist. Depending on your body type either one of these seats will suit you as they have been designed to fit a wide range of drivers. These seats offer immense levels of support and comfort with high-quality fabric trims that have durable material in the most contacted areas for longer-lasting use. Â

Below we used a driver who was 5ft 10inches tall with a waist size of 32inches, we compared both of the seats, and as you can see the OMP WRC fits our driver the best. His shoulders are tucked behind the shoulder supports correctly in the WRC bucket seat and not below unlike in the WRC XL which is too wide. Getting a seat that fits you correctly is very important for getting enough support so that you don’t suffer from too much lateral movement when driving. Your seat should hug you enough so that you feel pinned to the seat and not move side to side.Â

The OMP WRC is a fibreglass seat that has a black gel-coated perforated shell with high-profile side bolsters for increased lateral support. Upholstered in OMP’s new lightly padded AIRTEX fabric, the seat maximises breathability and ventilation whilst also featuring removable split leg cushions and 5 harness slots. The WRC is available in two sizes with fibreglass construction with the standard dimensioned seat and the XL which is 50mm taller and wide than the standard.
