Recently at GSM, one of our customers has fitted the a stunning Recaro Sportster CS reclining sports seat into their car and it looks amazing. This specific Sportster CS seat is the performance edition that has a unique custom trim that brings a more sporty look to the seat compared to the standard Sportster CS. You don’t see many with this limited edition trim and they look great!Â
This custom trim has red stripes down both sides of the seats from top to bottom with the finest carbon effect leather on the headrest and side panels, this is a sight to behold. It has white contrasting seams, and deep black Dinamica centres, this seat underlines the distinctive Recaro design and takes it to the next level.
We think these seats look great in our customer’s cars, the Recaro seats really bring a sporty look and feel to the interior.

The Recaro Sportster CS Performance Edition Reclining Sport Seat
The Reclining race shell is manufactured from a hybrid construction made from steel and polymer materials, such as carbon, Kevlar, and GRP. Firm upholstery gives the driver a great feel for the road. The well-defined side bolsters will give you a secure sitting position offering excellent support when cornering. The headrest is a fully integrated, fully upholstered headrest for the best possible head protection. The backrest release and adjustment are on both sides for simple, easy operation.

Fitting The Recaro Sportser CS Seat.
All Recaro Sportster CS seats are base mounted which will require either a sliding runner kit, base frame, or both to safely secure the seat to the base of the car.
The double-locking Recaro sliding runners will work perfectly as well as any vehicle-specific Recaro base frame as they all share the same bolt patterns.
To increase the range of vehicles available to install these seats into, the Planted Technology frames are an alternative, they are compatible with the Recaro Sportster CS seats from their vast amount of bolting points on the frame. Each of the Recaro sport seats in this collection is available in a wide range of colours and trims to suit your current interior. Recaro also uses a material called Ambla leather, although this is not real leather the incredibly high level of quality of the material is seen to be almost identical to the real thing at a fraction of the cost.
