OMP Motorsport competition seats are known world wide, OMP offers a complete line of seats engineered to meet the needs of competition: from the twisty roads of the World Rally Championship, to the GT Championships held on racing circuits worldwide, to the extreme test of endurance of the Dakar.
Top of the OMP seat range are the ultra-light shells made of pre-preg carbon fibre, made in autoclave. OMP seats have been choosen as OEM equipment by Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche as well (in GT competition cars), Seat Sport and Chevrolet (in touring competition cars). Moving along the range we can also find fibreglass seats available like the HTE and WRC seats found in world rally cars like Subaru and Citroen. We then have a range of steel frame seats which are a great starting point for those needing FIA seats at an affordable price.
Each OMP seat is made with the help of automatic systems for upholstery cutting. Based on the needs and possible customization, the bodies are padded with foam materials of different densities to optimize the comfort, completing the upholstering with the outer coating. The shell of the seat is subjected to stringent laboratory tests to verify compliance with the design parameters. This system is used both during design time and post-production control.
